Surprise Reef
Surprise Reef is a pinnacle that rises from the harbour bottom at about 120 ft, and Scuba Guam names it as one of several seamounts left untouched by the dredging of the 1960s. Its flat top between 35 and 45 ft carries healthy hard and soft corals that are described as pristine. Large anemone beds with many dusky anemonefish are a feature of the site, and juvenile Napoleon wrasse are often seen. The reef is seldom visited.
