Canyon
Canyon is one of the Desroches sites in the Amirantes, all of which the resort's dive centre reaches by boat in 10 to 20 minutes. Huge stone blocks are stacked so that they form swim-throughs and a real canyon, long and narrow, whose walls carry soft corals and gorgonian sea fans. The fish life is the main attraction: big schools of snappers and fusiliers, sweetlips and stingrays resting on the sand. Nurse sharks often sleep in the gaps under the large rocks. The dive centre gives a depth of 18 to 30 m for the site.
