Seychelles
A remote Outer Island group of coral islands and atolls southwest of Mahe, known for drop-offs and reef manta rays.
The Amirante Islands are a group of coral islands and atolls belonging to the Outer Islands of Seychelles, on the shallow Amirantes Bank. The group includes Desroches, on the edge of a deepwater drop-off with walls, gullies and caves, and Ile d'Arros, home to a resident group of reef manta rays. To the north, seamounts of the African Bank offer dives onto reefs patrolled by sharks.
