Airport Reef

Airport Reef is reached in about 20 minutes by boat from the Desroches resort. The centrepiece is a large overhang, while the rest of the wall is densely covered in colourful soft corals. Macro photographers come for the small species, including seagrass pipefish, and Petit Futé calls the site a paradise for macro photography. Larger visitors include Napoleon wrasse, bumphead parrotfish, grey reef sharks, whitetip and nurse sharks and turtles. The resort's dive centre gives a depth of 17 to 34 m.
