Yan Village

The site lies at the point of the bay that shelters Yan Village, where children who make goggles from wood and bottle tops like to greet divers. The wall is colourful with sponges and topped by a healthy hard coral reef, and traditional fishing traps can be seen nearby. On the sandy, algae-covered slope below the village macro hunters find frogfish, ghost pipefish and many nudibranchs. Mermaid notes a reef patch in the deepest part where Rhinopias hide, and Arenui adds mandarinfish and ribbon eels for the Yan Village dives.
