Klein Stelle
Also known as: Kleine Stelle
Divers enter opposite the car park; at low water about a hundred metres fall dry and they must wade over stones and oysters, so high water is easier. About a hundred metres out the bottom drops suddenly, and the slope of stones and oyster beds carries most classic Oosterschelde life, especially between five and twenty metres. The sand holds small flatfish and now and then a bobtail squid, and in summer many sea slugs appear. Divers should not go all the way to the channel, where it can be fifty metres deep and the current treacherous. Tanks can be filled at the camping.
