Bergse Diepsluis
Also known as: Oesterdam · Bergsche Diepsluis · Tholens Gat
The site lies in a small bay at the end of the estuary, reached by a short walk from a large car park to a stair or a marked entry with a rope. A training platform lies about thirty metres out at roughly nine to twelve metres, covered with oysters and sea squirts and often circled by bass and a school of pouting. Around seven metres sepia structures attract cuttlefish when the water reaches about twelve degrees, and their black eggs can be seen. The shallow zone suits long, relaxed dives looking for young cuttlefish, squid, seahorses, mullet and bass. Visibility varies a lot with the weather and the number of divers, and is usually better on weekdays.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
