Boribu Reef

Also known as: Boribu

Boribu is known for its mountains of coral, including unusual column corals, gorgonian sea fans and huge barrel sponges. Large lobsters, morays, barracuda and bluefin tuna are regularly seen, and whale sharks pass by in season. The trip takes about 45 minutes by fast boat from Stone Town, and Africa Diving says few Stone Town operators can take divers there.
