Maureen's Cove

Also known as: Maureens Cove

Maureen's Cove is a cove with a national park camping area on the north coast of Hook Island. Fringing reefs line both its eastern and western edges. Bommies climb from 12 to 15 m to just under the surface, cut by gullies and shallow caves where schools of mid-sized reef fish gather. The cove offers poor wind protection, so it is not advised as an overnight stop.
