Liabale

Also known as: Liabale East · Liabale West · Tadu Sampalu

Liabale lies where the channel between Lintea and Tomia begins, and the water moving through it attracts pelagic fish. The eastern section is a steep, colourful wall where bluefin and giant trevally, Napoleon wrasse, green and hawksbill turtles and schools of pyramid butterflyfish are seen. The western section opens with a ravine full of stacked caverns and overhangs before the dive drifts along the fringing reef among wire corals, whip corals and tube sponges. Whip coral gobies, Zanzibar shrimp, flatworms, big groupers and pufferfish add to the macro and fish life. The resort gives a depth range down to 85 m for both sections.
