China Town

China Town takes its name from porites corals that rise like pagodas and are covered in multi-coloured Christmas tree worms. A gully leads up to a bright red anemone that spreads over several metres at about 18 m and hosts a large anemonefish family. Deeper, around 27 m, green lettuce coral stretches across a ridge with schools of surgeonfish and butterflyfish. On the way back, tunnels and crevices hide sleeping sharks, emperor angelfish and triggerfish.
