Tyee Cove

Tyee Cove has parking, picnic tables and a small changing room, and a well worn path on the right side of the beach leads into the water. Underwater a sandy chute running north to south is the main landmark. To the right lie a rubble slope, cracks and shelves where octopus and rockfish hide, with depths reaching about 24 m before a deeper wall. The left side is a deeper dive with nice sponges. Because it is sheltered in almost any wind or tide, it is the place locals go when other sites are not diveable.
