Maple Bay

Divers enter from the sandy beach next to the government dock and follow a rope out to the main rock reef. Rock reefs, dock structures and a large field of old glass bottles make it a varied dive. Giant Pacific octopus and ruby octopus, rockfish, rock crabs, kelp crabs and nudibranchs live here. Summer visibility can be poor, but bioluminescent plankton makes night dives outstanding.
