Jesse Island
The best diving is on the northwest side of the island, where rock walls, pillars and small canyons funnel marine life together. A short swim-through and a few caves add variety without needing deep profiles. Plumose and crimson anemones cover the walls, and nudibranchs, rockfish, lingcod, wolf eels and the occasional octopus live in the cracks. Because of its position at the bay entrance the current can build quickly, so dives are timed for slack tide and usually done as live drops from a boat. The island itself is private, so there is no landing.
