Tavae Wreck
Also known as: Tivae Wreck
The tug was deliberately sunk in 2013 to create a new dive site, only about 10 minutes by boat from Pure Ocean at the Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort. It is 30 metres long and 8 metres wide, and its stern with twin propellers rests at 28 metres. The usual dive depth given by the operator is around 20 metres. Experienced divers can enter the hold. Since the sinking, the hull has become home to a growing range of marine life.
