Broken Ear

Samoa Dive & Snorkel reaches the site on its Forgotten Bay tour, driving guests out of the city and over the mountains to a private beach. Divers walk in from the beach and descend onto a reef of coral bommies and craggy outcrops. Schools of butterflyfish, parrotfish and sweetlips are common, and anemones are home to clownfish. A closer look reveals nudibranchs, anemone shrimps and coral crabs. The operator keeps the story behind the name for its guests.
