Samoa
Fringing-reef diving around Samoa's main island, from the shore-accessible Palolo Deep Marine Reserve near the capital Apia to south-coast wall and coral-garden sites.
Diving around Upolu centres on fringing reefs close to shore. Near Apia, the shallow, walk-in Palolo Deep National Marine Reserve forms a coral-lined 'blue hole' with depths of roughly 15-30 m further out. The south coast offers walls and coral gardens; Upolu has no dedicated resident dive operator, with dives arranged via fishing charters or from neighbouring islands.
