Daedalus North Point

Daedalus is an isolated reef far off the coast of Marsa Alam, and the current splits at its north point. Divers are dropped by RIB early in the morning, stay close to the wall and look out into the blue for schooling hammerheads, which are especially frequent in summer. Silky sharks, oceanic whitetips, manta rays, trevally and tuna are also reported. Steel cargo from the deep Zealot wreck can be seen on the wall nearby. After the hammerhead watch, divers usually drift down the east or west wall toward the south.
