SS Bulli

Also known as: Bulli

The Bulli sheltered in Murray Pass from a gale in July 1877, struck an uncharted rock as she left and sank back in West Cove before she could be beached. Salvage attempts failed, and the wreck lies on a north-east to south-west line on flat sand about 200 metres from shore. She was assessed as historic in 1990, and although the obvious artefacts are gone, much can still be seen. Parks and Wildlife Service lists it among the interesting shallow wrecks of the Kent Group.
