Bellerive Beach
The dive starts from the western end of Bellerive Beach next to the cricket ground and follows a low reef of rocks and weed onto a sandy, slightly silty bottom. Handfish, odd anglerfish relatives that walk on their fins, are found along the reef edge and on the sand. Flathead, banded stingarees, Shaw's cowfish and many sea stars are also seen. Visibility is often only a few metres, and a dive flag is required because of heavy boat traffic.
