Sleepy Bay
Sleepy Bay is named for the shelter it gives from easterly swell, though the walk back up the hill after the dive is steep. The bay itself is mostly sand with patches of reef thick with short seaweed. From the eastern granite point, reefs and bommies run into the bay, and a line of granite bommies at 10 to 12 metres is home to banded morwong, bullseyes, wrasse and leatherjackets. The largest is undercut by a large cavern, and cracks carry yellow zoanthids and sponges.
