Deep Glen Bay
A broad reef extends seaward from the northern point of Deep Glen Bay, weedy and shallow close to shore before it steps down over a series of narrow ledges. Sponges in many colours, hydroids, gorgonian fans, sea whips and anemones cover the rock. Weedy seadragons are regularly seen between about 8 and 25 metres, and New Zealand fur seals sometimes appear. Indopacificimages describes this northern wall as a lighter version of the nearby Sisters Rocks. Because the bay is exposed, it is a boat dive for calm days.
