The Pavilions

The Pavilions lies east of Cane Bay along the north-shore wall. South of the mooring, at about 35 feet, a sandy arena ringed by coral is home to yellowhead jawfish and spaghetti worms, and nurse sharks and spotted moray eels shelter there. The wall itself carries colourful sponges, whips, sea plumes, elephant ear sponges and black coral. Schools of Atlantic spadefish and creole wrasse, groupers, triggerfish and butterflyfish are common, and sharp-eyed divers may find pipefish and seahorses. The mix of an easy plateau and a wall makes it a site for beginners as well as advanced divers.
