Chubb's Hole

Also known as: Chubbs Hole · Chub's Hole

Chubb's Hole lies a short boat ride north of the Frederiksted Pier. A sharp ledge about 15 feet high starts at the edge of Butler Bay and runs south around Mill Point towards Cowboy Beach. The many small caves and holes in the ledge are home to lobster, nurse sharks, moray eels and turtles. Nep2une describes a mix of solid and patch reef between about 30 and 60 feet, with chubs, black durgons, fairy basslets, porcupinefish and queen triggerfish.
