Little Cozumel
Little Cozumel has a small wall that starts at about 40 feet and runs vertically to about 72 feet, with hard and soft corals on top. Seahorses live on the reef top, and lobsters and green and spotted moray eels are plentiful on the sloping reef. Blue Salt Divers moors in 45 to 50 feet and heads east-northeast to large coral formations at 65 to 70 feet, then across a sand patch with triggerfish, peacock flounders and sharks. Around 75 feet there are fields of staghorn coral, unusual for the Virgin Islands where it normally grows shallow.
