La Marado
La Marado is an ocean dive site on the southwest side of Tahiti Iti, between Vairao and PK 10. According to Wannadive, gorgonian sea fans cover a large wall starting at around 20 m, with Napoleon wrasse, whitetip reef sharks and a few moray eels swimming nearby. Tahiti Tourisme also mentions canyons, sea anemones and jacks. The dive depth ranges from 18 to 43 m, and Wannadive calls for an Advanced Open Water or CMAS two-star certification.
