Whitetip Avenue
Also known as: White-Tip Avenue
The shallow reef top gives way to a vertical wall full of terraces, crevices, ledges and chimneys with sponges, black corals and gorgonians. The guide chooses the direction by the current, so the dive always runs between the wall and open water. Groupers, emperor angelfish, triggerfish and parrotfish live on the wall. Out in the blue, grey and whitetip reef sharks are the main predators. Novices are not encouraged to go deep on the outer side.
