Rainbow Passage

Rainbow Passage shares its reef with Rainbow's End, and guides pick the side to dive by the direction and strength of the current. Divers drop in from deeper water, drift onto the sloping reef and often finish on its sheltered far side. The route can start among soft and hard coral bommies, cross a sand patch with garden eels and run through a reef valley to shallows of fire coral. Look for juvenile blue ribbon eels, leaf scorpionfish and banded sea snakes, with barracuda, whitetip reef sharks and Napoleon wrasse passing by.
