Blue Ribbon Eel Reef

Several blue ribbon eels live in burrows along the side of this reef and give it its name. The reef is a gentle slope where sandy areas alternate with vibrant coral fields and little bommies, on which a resident pair of leaf scorpionfish is often found. Whitetip reef sharks nap on the deeper sand flats, and Spanish mackerel and Napoleon wrasse cruise nearby. Depending on current, divers can finish on the sheltered side of the reef, and Scuba Diving describes combining it with Jerry's Jelly on one dive.
