100 ft Rock
Also known as: 100 Foot Rock
Divers follow a ravine from about 20 ft down to a boulder roughly 20 ft high and 30 ft long that was left behind by glaciers. The rock is covered in zoanthids and has many crevices for sculpins, while rockfish, perch and greenling circle it. On the way back, gunnels live in the pitted sand and clay shelves on both sides of the gully and among the debris that has settled there. Shore access along the railway is no longer allowed, and PNW Diving warns of no-trespassing signs and penalties, so the site is now a boat dive.
