Five Rocks
Also known as: 5 Rocks
Five Rocks lies on the way from Sosua Bay towards Puerto Plata and the airport, around eight minutes by boat. Its five big rock pinnacles stretch over about 100 m and are covered in barrel sponges, tube sponges and corals. Moray eels, crabs, lobsters, octopus and puffer fish live among the rocks, and schools of fish swirl around them. Operators describe the pinnacles as very photogenic.
