Hin Dot
Also known as: Chimney Rock
The three chimneys stand close together in a north-south line, and the main one rises from about 30 m to just below the surface. Its distinct shelves let divers spiral slowly upwards while the scenery changes. Snappers, yellow fusiliers and jacks school around the rock and trevally and barracuda hunt them. The walls carry purple and orange soft corals, tube corals and zigzag clams, with shrimps, crabs and nudibranchs in the crevices. Leopard sharks often rest on the sand at the base, and because of boat traffic near Tonsai Bay a surface marker is recommended.
