Garang Heng
Also known as: Hin Klai · Garang Heang · Gareng Heng
Nothing of the reef shows above water, and it sees fewer boats than the walls around the islands. Its pinnacles top out at about 6 m and drop to around 24 m, covered in a mix of hard and soft corals, barrel sponges, sea fans and anemones. Large schools of yellowtail barracuda, fusiliers and blue-lined snappers gather over the reef. Lionfish, scorpionfish and moray eels hunt among the glassfish, and banded sea snakes are sometimes seen. Leopard sharks rest on the sand around the base on most dives.
