Kalipayan
Also known as: Happy Wall · Kalipayan Wall
Kalipayan, which means happiness, lies between the Alona reef and Danao Wall. The wall is covered in soft and hard corals, sea fans and table corals, and its cracks hide comet fish and banded pipefish. Lower down a sandy slope holds dragon seamoths, seahorses and robust ghost pipefish, and at about 32 m lies an old bangka boat still loaded with scuba tanks. Batfish are seen on most dives, and turtles sometimes sleep in small caverns in the wall. Conditions are usually calm, which makes it a common choice for night dives.
