Arco Point
Also known as: Hole in the Wall · Arco
Arco Point owes its nickname, the Hole in the Wall, to a chimney-like tunnel that runs from the reef top down into the face of the wall. Bohol Divers Club puts its upper opening at about 5 m and its exit at about 16 m, and the wall ends on a sandy slope near 20 m. Torchlight in the tunnel reveals cardinalfish, sergeant majors, scorpionfish and moray eels. After the tunnel the dive usually continues as a drift south along the wall, past soft corals that glow in sunlight. Frogfish, ghost pipefish, blue-ringed octopus and orangutan crabs are among the small animals guides point out.
