Channel Crevasses
También conocido como: Channel Crevice
The southern coast has an outer reef with a shallow lagoon behind it, and shore divers reach the site through a natural passage from the lagoon to the open sea. Boats from Itoman also come here. The terrain is cut by cracks and crevasses on a larger scale than elsewhere on the island, wide enough for divers to enter. Reef sharks patrol, lobsters retreat into the dark, and the shallow coral is very colourful. Visibility can be excellent, but strong rip currents occur with big tide changes.
