Jam

Jam lies off the seawall in Mizugama, just south of the North Steps entry, and takes its name from the dive centre next to it. The dive begins with a small swim-through no deeper than about 12 ft that can be skipped. A narrow passage with corals on both sides then leads out to a broad sandy slope where stingrays are sometimes seen. Soft corals are abundant and hide nudibranchs, crabs and octopus. The large reef and sandy bottom make it a good night dive.
