Grotte Sakatia

The contrast between open sand and coral heads is the main feature of the site. Garden eels live in the sand, while glassfish colonies shelter in the coral. Stingrays often hide under table corals, and mantis shrimps and sea fans add to the mix. Large manta rays are seen from time to time, which is what the site is best known for. Currents and changing visibility mean the dive has to be planned around the tide.
