The plateau is normally crowded with schooling fish, although on some days they disappear for no clear reason. A huge moray eel is sometimes seen, and stonefish, crocodilefish, leaf scorpionfish and frogfish reward a slow search. Whitetip reef sharks pass by, and manta rays, mobulas or eagle rays sometimes turn up. Conditions are usually gentle, which makes it a forgiving dive.
