Banc des Licornes

Also known as: Unicorns · Licorne

Dive centres rate the coral field here among the finest around Nosy Be, and the corals are described as looking new and undamaged. The plateau is well stocked with reef fish and is a good place to find stonefish, leaf scorpionfish, frogfish, crocodilefish and the rare Rhinopias. Stingrays rest on the bottom. Eagle rays and manta rays sometimes pass over the reef. Sakalav' Diving counts it among the plateaus that are covered with sea fans and table corals.
