Talisay Point
Also known as: Talisay · Talisay Wall
Talisay is Moalboal's turtle site, where green and hawksbill turtles rest on the reef in good numbers. A reef top dense with hard corals leads to a slope and wall with canyons and small caves. Black corals, gorgonian sea fans and sponges grow on the wall, where frogfish, scorpionfish, stonefish, moray eels and nudibranchs live. Batfish and barracuda pass in open water, and mandarinfish live in the reef. Magic Island notes that the mix of slope and wall makes it a good night dive as well.
