Magic Island House Reef
Also known as: Magic Point
Divers walk from the Magic Island dive centre straight into the water and reach a wall covered with hard corals, soft corals and large sea fans. The resort reports turtles on almost every dive, with a record of 17 in one dive and mating turtles caught on video. In shallow water about 40 m in front of the dive centre, mandarinfish perform their mating ritual at sunset, a favourite target for photographers. Jacks and tuna hunt along the reef, and frogfish in several colours live there. Night dives show decorator crabs, cuttlefish, snake eels and sea snakes.
