Begho Point

Begho Point extends far out underwater from the eastern end of Mbulo Island. With the right moon phase and current it becomes extremely busy, with jacks, tuna, Spanish mackerel, barracuda, surgeonfish and ocean triggerfish rushing past. Grey reef, whitetip and blacktip reef sharks move in and out of the action. Divers find a spot on the point and then work slowly up the slope, where squirrelfish, wrasses and diamond trevally keep the long safety stop interesting.
