Tapilon Wreck

The Tapilon Wreck is an unidentified Japanese cargo carrier from the Second World War, named after the nearby town of Tapilon. It was hit by torpedoes and now lies in several sections, though it is still recognisable as a ship. Black coral grows over much of it. Flatworms, nudibranchs, moray eels, cuttlefish, squid and large marble rays are common, with occasional ornate ghost pipefish and flamboyant cuttlefish.
