Ti'Pâté
The boat moors at about 8 m on the sheltered side of Ti'Pâté, and beginners explore the west side while experienced divers swim around the whole islet. The route changes from huge boulders with cathedral and starlet corals to a bright garden of star coral on white sand at the north end. From Easter to July thousands of small baitfish form moving tubes in the water, followed by lizardfish, needlefish, jacks and barracuda. Lobsters, slipper lobsters, fairy basslets, Pederson shrimps and squid are regularly seen. Below about 12 m the bottom turns to sand, so dives stay shallow.
