Lang Khai Bay

Also known as: Lang Khaai Bay

Lang Khai Bay is one of the hidden bays of Koh Tao's rugged east coast, lying just south of Tanote Bay. It is really two small bays, Lang Khai and Aow Lud, separated by a short rocky beach. Boulders at either end of the bay continue underwater as rock formations covered in corals that shelter reef fish, and the water is a little deeper on the north side. Divers can enter straight from the beach or come by boat, a trip of around an hour from the island's west side. Common Koh Tao reef life is found here, and with luck a cobia passes by.
