Kirsty Jayne's Reef

Kirsty Jayne's Reef is one of the chain of reefs near Walindi named after women who once worked at the resort. The narrow ridge starts around 5 m and descends gradually with walls on either side, its top covered in hard corals, barrel sponges and damselfish. A short saddle leads to a second ridge lined with red sea whips, where gorgonian fans and olive whips are surrounded by schools of purple anthias. Back on the Christine's side, a broad coral garden in the shallows makes an ideal place for the safety stop.
