Shanhai
Also known as: 山海 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan))
Shanhai starts with a walk over breakwater blocks and red algae before a wide sand plain where garden eels and stingrays live and a guide line laid by local divers shows the way. Beyond the sand rise reef clusters, among them a reef once named after its many snappers and a rock wall covered in anemones and clownfish. Further out a low arch-shaped reef, nicknamed the Arc de Triomphe, is a favourite photo stop but needs a good air supply and calm current. Turtles, nudibranchs, anthias and lionfish are also reported. The site lies next to the harbour channel, so divers must stay clear of it, and dive centres rate it intermediate to advanced.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
