Hejie Rib Wreck
Also known as: Hejie Wreck Ship · Hojie Wreck Boat · 排骨 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)) · 合界排骨 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan))
Beyond the Hejie reef the slope reaches sand at about 28 m, and a further swim of roughly 38 m leads to the remains of a wreck. Only the ribs of the hull are left, which gave the site its local name. On the otherwise bare sand the frames work like an oasis, with snappers, cardinalfish, anthias and pinecone fish, and leaf scorpionfish sitting by the remains of the bow. Sea pens grow nearby. The depth and the strong ebb current running south make air and no-decompression time tight, so dive centres take only experienced divers and prefer nitrox.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
