Seopseom

Also known as: Supseom · Supsum · Seopsum · Seop Island

Seopseom, also called Supseom for its dense forest, is the third of the islands off Seogwipo. One local centre describes it as relatively shallow with a sand and rock bottom and well-formed soft coral colonies, while PADI lists wall and drift diving there. It sees fewer divers than Munseom and Beomseom. Aquamarine Jeju says it holds fish not found at the other two islands, and Mobydick Dive mentions flatfish among its varied fish life. The island is protected as Natural Monument No. 18 for its fern colony, and named points such as Jageun Hangaechang lie around it.
